A broad-based plan is a holistic approach to improving your financial life. We would provide you with information such as a projection of your ability to retire at a desired age and lifestyle, examine your current investments, and provide specific recommendations as appropriate to impact your diversification, risk level and fees paid.
The plan would analyze your insurance needs, review estate planning, education planning and other financial aspects of your life as well as basic implementation assistance to achieve your goals. There are two different options to choose from with this plan.
BROAD BASED FINANCIAL PLANNING
A one-time broad-based plan. The engagement includes the full broad-based plan that is listed above and includes a follow up meeting within 60 days to answer any questions that come up with the plan or implementation. Plan refreshes and any follow up work requested by you would be billed at the hourly rate.
The typical fee range is $1,800 to $2,400.
ONGOING ADVICE PLANNING
A broad-based plan plus ongoing financial advice. This relationship offers a full plan but with the comfort of knowing that you can meet with your advisor whenever you need guidance along the way. If you wish, we can keep your portfolio investments up to date using aggregation software at no additional cost. This will reduce the work needed on your part for annual reviews and if changes are recommended, we’ll provide detailed rebalancing instructions as needed.
This arrangement also includes a plan refresh at least annually or when your situation undergoes major changes. Finally, you are able to contact us with questions on the plan or if you are faced with financial dilemmas, sudden money or are experiencing financial stress or confusion.
The typical fee is a one-time upfront fee ranging from $1,000 to $1,500 plus an ongoing monthly retainer fee of $100 to $130/month.
